Hair Restoration

A Personalized Approach

to Thinning Hair

Microneedling for hair restoration uses fine needles to create controlled micro-injuries in the scalp. This triggers the body's natural healing response, increasing blood flow and collagen production around hair follicles and encouraging thinning or dormant follicles to become active again. It's an effective option for early-to-moderate hair thinning in both men and women.

Adding PRP (platelet-rich plasma) takes this a step further. PRP is derived from your own blood and is rich in growth factors that support tissue repair and cell regeneration. When incorporated into an individualized treatment plan, these treatments may support follicular function and improve the appearance of hair density, thickness, and overall scalp health over time. Results vary, and a consultation is required to determine whether treatment is appropriate.

With consistent sessions, patients often see increased hair density, reduced shedding, and healthier, fuller-looking hair over time. This non-surgical treatment is quick, has minimal downtime, and can be combined with other therapies for enhanced results.

For optimal, long-lasting results, we require a series of 6 treatments spaced one month apart.

Treatment Experience

Your appointment begins with a consultation to assess your scalp and hair loss pattern.

The scalp is cleansed and a topical numbing agent is applied to keep you comfortable throughout the session.

For microneedling, a specialized device is passed over the treatment area to create the micro-injuries that jumpstart the healing and growth process.

If PRP is added, a small blood sample is drawn and centrifuged to separate the platelet-rich plasma, which is then applied to the scalp and worked in during microneedling.

Sessions are well tolerated, with most patients describing mild pressure or a light scratching sensation rather than pain.

Recovery and Results

Hair restoration occurs gradually, with most patients needing 4-6 sessions spaced 4-6 weeks apart before noticeable results appear.

Day 0 - 2: Mild redness, warmth, and scalp sensitivity

Day 2 - 3: Redness fades; scalp may feel dry or tight

Day 4 - 5: Scalp normalizes; light flaking possible

Week 2: Scalp feels fully healed; normal hair care routine resumes

Month 1 - 2: Finer, new hair growth may begin to appear as follicles enter an active growth phase; PRP's growth factors continue supporting follicle activity during this window

Month 3 - 4: Increased thickness and density become noticeable

Month 6+: Full results emerge, with continued improvement through a completed series of sessions
